Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide remote technical support to clients, identify incidents, and drive resolution while meeting SLA targets. The role is entry level and focuses on maintaining service delivery, knowledge-based troubleshooting, and collaboration with vendors and clients.

The position emphasizes remote working capability, knowledge of Cisco/Juniper/Aruba, and the ability to operate across cultures while supporting networking technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in different Networking technologies such as Cisco or Juniper or Aruba or F5 or CCNA etc.
• Entry level networking experience including routing, switching, wireless and core/access layers.
• Experience providing remote client support and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the support process and handle requests per procedures.
• Use service tools to diagnose problems and generate reports.
• Identify and resolve problems following approved procedures.
• Escalate unresolved incidents and ensure timely closure.
• Document and close resolved incidents per procedures.
• Coordinate with client environments, vendors and teams to expedite resolution.
