Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Customer Service Engineer to support Crouse-Hinds / CEAG, focused on explosion-proof equipment and power distribution solutions. The role is 100% remote, serving Spain and selected export markets, with a strong emphasis on customer project lifecycles, technical quotations, and order execution.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and operations across Europe to ensure precise requirements, timely deliveries, and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical customer support, project coordination, customer service engineering, inside sales, or order management environment.
• Experience working with technical or engineered-to-order products within industrial markets.
• Experience supporting industrial customers and managing multiple stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications, technical documentation and requirements to prepare accurate technical and commercial quotations.
• Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and translated into appropriate solutions.
• Manage customer orders for catalog material from receipt through delivery, ensuring technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout project execution, providing regular updates on status, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Support the sales organization by managing quotation follow-up activities and helping drive opportunity conversion.
• Provide technical guidance and product support for catalog material related to explosion-proof electrical equipment and power distribution & control solutions.
• Coordinate drawing approvals, technical clarifications, and project-related communications between customers and internal stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with customers, distributors, and sales colleagues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with international teams across Europe, including engineering, operations, manufacturing, and customer service functions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing customer experience, operational efficiency, and service quality.
