Job summary

NTT DATA is looking for an entry-level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer who will provide professional remote technical support to clients by identifying and resolving incidents and problems. The role focuses on restoring service and ensuring zero missed SLA conditions through proactive incident management and documented resolutions.

The position requires knowledge of networking technologies, the ability to work across cultures, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in Networking technologies such as Cisco/Juniper/Aruba/F5/CCNA/JNCIA/ACMA is required.
• Entry-level knowledge of vendor technologies and remote console architecture.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures requests for support are handled according to procedures.
• Uses service assurance software to investigate and diagnose problems and creates reports.
• Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures and performs maintenance tasks.
• Documents and closes resolved incidents according to procedures and keeps configuration items up to date.
• Provides remote technical support and ensures incidents are resolved with zero missed SLAs.
