Job summary

Novanta is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in Spain. You will support a diverse internal user base, from frontline staff to executives, ensuring smooth IT operations and high-quality service.

Key responsibilities include hardware imaging, device deployments, application updates, and supporting Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Exchange Online. You will manage Active Directory objects, provide remote assistance, and contribute to user education while handling Jira

Qualifications

4+ years of IT support experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
Familiarity with help desk tools and basic networking concepts.
Advanced English speaking skills, fluent Spanish (Catalan is a big plus).
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end users at all levels of the organization, including executives.
Perform hardware imaging, device deployments, and application updates.
Support Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Exchange Online environments.
Manage Active Directory objects, including users, groups, and computers.
Deliver responsive support to remote users to keep them connected and productive.
Document processes and contribute to user education, particularly for non-technical users.
Manage and resolve IT tickets through Jira Service Management ticketing system.
