Job summary

IREN Group in Madrid is seeking an IT Administrator to deliver first-level technical support across Spain. The role combines on-site and remote assistance, troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and enterprise apps, and documenting incidents for timely resolution.

Based in Madrid, you will work with the global IT team to ensure secure, reliable services, support Active Directory, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Defender, Sentinel, and virtualization, and communicate in Spanish and English to

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in IT administration, system support, service desk, infrastructure support, or network management roles.
• Fluent English, with the ability to provide technical support and communicate with stakeholders.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 environments and related tools.
• Basic knowledge of Linux, networking, cloud services, and virtualization.
• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications are valued.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to employees in Spanish and English via phone, email, remote, and in-person channels.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues; escalate complex problems as needed.
• Assist in maintaining IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and end-user devices.
• Support administration of enterprise applications and platforms (Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra, SharePoint, Defender, Sentinel).
• Perform routine updates, patching, backups, and basic security checks.
• Participate in IT projects such as upgrades and deployments.
• Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, configurations, and processes.
• Collaborate with vendors and global IT team to coordinate issues and regional support.
