Job summary

Novanta is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in Spain. You will support a diverse internal user base, from frontline staff to executives, ensuring smooth IT operations and high-quality service.

Key responsibilities include hardware imaging, device deployments, application updates, and supporting Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Exchange Online. You will manage Active Directory objects, provide remote assistance, and contribute to user education while handling Jira

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT support experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with help desk tools and basic networking concepts.
• Advanced English speaking skills, fluent Spanish (Catalan is a big plus).
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end users at all levels of the organization, including executives.
• Perform hardware imaging, device deployments, and application updates.
• Support Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Exchange Online environments.
• Manage Active Directory objects, including users, groups, and computers.
• Deliver responsive support to remote users to keep them connected and productive.
• Document processes and contribute to user education, particularly for non-technical users.
• Manage and resolve IT tickets through Jira Service Management ticketing system.
