Earlier this year, it acquired the rights to Nicotinell, a global leader in the NRT (Nicotine Replacement Therapy) category from Haleon. Nicotinell is the second-biggest brand globally (excluding the United States) in the NRT category, with an extensive footprint in over 30 countries spanning Europe, Asia including Japan, and Latin America.

It holds the first or second position in 14 of the top 17 global markets, with the lozenge/mini-lozenge format holding the top position globally. Nicotinell ranks among the top 15 biggest brands among all OTC brands in Europe (excluding Russia, Italy) and ranks No.32 among all OTC global brands (excluding USA). The current business is €250mn globally and will form the foundation of Dr. Reddy’s future consumer health platform.

Role overview:

As the Marketing Manager – Southern Europe (Spain), you will manage end-to-end marketing, collaborating with commercial and global colleagues. You will lead marketing initiatives, oversee P&L management, and develop strategies to expand brand leadership in the NRT category. Additionally, you will work with global teams, use data insights for optimization, and focus on e-commerce and alternative channel expansion. This role requires strategic vision, agility, creativity, and a deep understanding of consumer (OTC) and healthcare professional marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy and Growth:
  • Develop and execute marketing and business plans to drive sales and market share growth
  • Master brand marketing fundamentals, digital media strategies, and activation tactics
  • Lead impactful consumer and HCP campaigns to strengthen brand positioning
  • Identify opportunities to grow market leadership across segments and channels
  • Collaborate with distributors on trade and customer marketing strategies, optimizing e-commerce and retail promotions
  • Manage the P&L, shaping strategies aligned with Dr. Reddy’s consumer healthcare ambitions
Innovation & Product Development:
  • Use market dynamics and consumer insights to create innovative marketing strategies
  • Partner with global teams on new product innovations
  • Drive new product launches from concept to commercialization
  • Collaborate with distributors and commercial teams to unlock retail opportunities
Marketing & Communication (Consumer, HCP, Digital):
  • Develop localized and global marketing assets for consumers, HCP, and trade
  • Lead digital marketing strategies, including data analytics and KPI tracking
  • Design targeted HCP communication programs using PR, industry events, and global tools
  • Oversee marketing research and analytics for optimization
  • Manage agency partnerships for research, advertising, and promotions
Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Foster a performance-driven culture and collaboration across teams
  • Communicate marketing plans effectively at all organizational levels
  • Align brand strategies with business needs and ensure buy-in
Experience:
  • 8-10 years in marketing, including 5+ years in Consumer Health (OTC experience preferred)
  • Strong background in consumer and HCP marketing (Pharmacy channel an asset)
  • Experience working with local & global teams
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Fluent in English
