• 5+ years in HR roles, with at least 2 years as HRBP in logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation.

Functions and responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic HR Partnership

Collaborate with business leaders to understand operational goals and translate them into HR strategies.

Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and succession planning for sea and air freight divisions.

Support change management initiatives during business transformation or process optimization.

Talent Management

Drive recruitment strategies for specialized roles in freight forwarding and air cargo operations.

Implement onboarding programs tailored to logistics and transport professionals.

Identify training needs and coordinate learning programs for operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

Employee Relations

Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues within the sea and air freight teams.

Ensure fair and consistent application of company policies and labor laws.

Mediate conflicts and foster a positive work environment across multicultural teams.

Performance & Compensation

Support performance management cycles, including goal setting and appraisals.

Advise on compensation structures aligned with industry benchmarks for freight forwarding and air transport roles.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure adherence to international and local labor regulations.

Collaborate with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) teams to maintain compliance in operational areas.

HR Analytics

Monitor HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, training effectiveness) and provide insights to improve workforce efficiency.

Prepare reports for senior management on HR trends within sea and air freight operations.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills :

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) preferred.

Experience :

5+ years in HR roles, with at least 2 years as HRBP in logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation industry.

Skills :

Strong knowledge of international labor laws and compliance.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage HR projects in a fast-paced, global environment.

Familiarity with HRIS and data-driven decision-making.
