Formación

• Proven track record in system architecture design and embedded software development.
• Engineering degree in Mechatronics or related fields (Mechanical, Electronics); MSc or PhD preferred.
• Excellent skills in validation methods for new functions and system requirements definition.

Responsabilidades

• Design and validate system architecture for torque management functions.
• Translate system requirements into SW functional specifications.
• Manage SW function development during upstream project phases.

This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid, Spain, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What You Will Do

• Design and validate system architecture for torque management functions.
• Translate system requirements (OBD, safety, performance) into SW functional specifications.
• Prepare System Control Design Review (SCDR) files for collaboration with SW architects.
• Develop generic validation plans for assigned functions.
• Manage SW function development during upstream project phases.
• Ensure technical convergence and compliance with standards throughout development.

What We’re Looking For

• A proven track record in system architecture design and embedded software development.
• Engineering degree in Mechatronics or related fields (Mechanical, Electronics); MSc or PhD preferred.
• Excellent skills in validation methods for new functions and system requirements definition.
• Strong competencies in problem‑solving and collaboration, with a multicultural approach.
• Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
• Excellent command of English and Spanish, both spoken and written; French will be highly valued.
