Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to operate regionally and provide remote technical support to clients by identifying and resolving incidents.

Through proactive incident handling and resolution, the role aims to restore service while meeting SLA targets, coordinating with clients, vendors and internal teams to ensure swift, effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in different Networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA.
• Entry level experience in Networking technologies including routing, switching, Wireless, SDI distribution, core and access layers.
• Entry level experience providing remote technical support and diagnosing incidents.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and handles requests according to procedures.
• Uses service assurance tools to diagnose problems, collect stats and report findings.
• Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures and performs maintenance tasks.
• Monitors service delivery against SLAs and logs relevant information.
• Escalates unresolved incidents and follows up until resolution with clients and vendors.
• Documents incidents and maintains accurate configuration items (CIs).
• Collaborates with client IT environments, vendors and colleagues to expedite diagnosis.
