Job summary

Emergo by UL seeks a Senior Sales Executive for Medical Device Consulting Services in the EMEA region. The role is customer-facing, leading sales of premium Human Factors advisory services with technical credibility to close deals.

The position supports a remote or hybrid work model, with potential offices in Barcelona, Basingstoke, or The Hague. Ideal candidate has 5+ years consultative sales experience in the medical device sector.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of consultative sales experience and proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
• Medical device and/or life sciences industry experience required
• Bachelor's or graduate degree in business, human factors engineering, biomedical engineering, life science or related field
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software

Responsibilities

• Serves as primary point of contact for specialty Human Factors advisory services throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact through project scoping and contract execution
• Responsible for understanding customer needs, articulating value proposition in client presentations and proposals, and managing client interactions to close sales
• Meets or exceeds quarterly and annual sales quotas; works with subject matter experts to craft customized advisory service solutions
• Develops sales pipeline via proactive outreach and attendance of trade shows and conferences
• Builds trust with customers to identify needs and pain points and integrate HF solutions in product development stages
• Contributes to marketing strategy and tactics for Human Factors business, including identifying key industry events
• Advises leadership on evolving customer needs and industry trends to inform offerings
• Maintains plan to prioritize portfolio of target accounts and relationships throughout the year
• Gains HF knowledge quickly via internal training and independent research
• Proactively identify and target key customers for needs discovery and opportunity identification
