Job summary

Emergo by UL is seeking a senior sales executive in Europe to lead the sale of premium Human Factors advisory services across the EMEA region. The role is customer-facing and requires advanced technical credibility to respond to inquiries and close deals.

This position offers flexibility in where you work and can be remote or hybrid from Barcelona, Basingstoke, or The Hague. You will drive the sales cycle from initial contact to contract, exceeding quotas and building a strong pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or graduate degree in business or engineering.
• English proficiency at least C1 level.
• 5+ years of consultative sales experience with a proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets (minimum $3 million/year).
• Medical device and/or life science industry experience required.
• Human Factors engineering knowledge and experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
• Ability to travel including client visits and trade shows up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for Human Factors advisory services throughout sales cycle from initial contact to contract execution.
• Understand customer needs, articulate value proposition, and manage interactions to close sales.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas; collaborate with SMEs to craft tailored advisory solutions.
• Develop sales pipeline via proactive outreach and attendance at trade shows and conferences.
• Identify customer pain points and opportunities to integrate HF solutions into product development.
• Support marketing strategy and identify key industry events to represent the company.
