Job summary

Emergo by UL is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to lead sales of premium Human Factors advisory services in the EMEA region. This customer-facing role requires advanced technical credibility and strong consultative selling skills.

Remote work is possible, or hybrid from offices in Barcelona, Basingstoke, or The Hague. You will drive the sales cycle from initial contact through scope and contracts, develop tailored HF solutions, and build a strong pipeline through outreach and industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or graduate degree in business, human factors engineering, biomedical engineering, life sciences or related field.
• English proficiency at least C1 level.
• 5+ years of consultative sales experience and ability to meet/exceed sales targets (minimum $3 million/year).
• Medical device and/or life science industry experience required.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for specialty Human Factors advisory services throughout the sales cycle.
• Understand customer needs and articulate value proposition in presentations and proposals; manage client interactions to close sales.
• Meet or exceed quarterly/annual sales quotas; collaborate with SMEs to tailor advisory solutions.
• Develop sales pipeline via proactive outreach and attendance at trade shows and conferences.
• Build trust with customers, identify needs and pain points, and integrate HF solutions into product development processes.
• Contribute to marketing strategy by identifying key industry events to represent the company.
• Advise leadership on evolving customer needs, pain points, and industry trends to inform future offerings.
• Maintain an ongoing plan to prioritize target accounts and nurture relationships.
