Job summary

SITA is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to support the Messaging portfolio in Madrid. You will identify customer needs, align technology solutions, and work with product and sales teams to drive business growth in air transport.

You will collaborate across commercial and engineering groups, stay abreast of tech trends, and help implement solutions for global airports and airlines. A 3–5 year background in technical sales within aviation is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
3-5 years of similar and relevant technical sales experience (preference given to aviation/airport experience).
Preference given for knowledge/experience of IATA/ICAO messaging standards or related messaging system experience.

Responsibilities

Provide technical sales support, in collaboration with commercial sales, for existing and new customers.
Work with product team to ensure our solutions meet customer requirements and identify new solutions.
Support internal organizations in understanding how SITA’s Messaging service works.
Stay updated with the latest technology trends.
Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills.
Interlock with commercial managers and sales.
Assist with the design coordination and development of solutions with multiple parties internally and externally.
Assist with the transfer of projects for implementation.
Interact with colleagues to gain knowledge and share ideas.
