Job summary
SITA is seeking an experienced Senior Solution Designer/Engineer to join the regional pre-sales team. You will own the technical aspects of customer proposals, design solutions, and coordinate cross-functional teams to win contracts in the air transport industry.
You will lead virtual bid teams, translate customer requirements into SITA products, and provide expert advice throughout the sales cycle, including presentations and demonstrations to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of IT/air transport tech experience in a technical pre-sale role.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business.
- Fluency in English and German is mandatory.
- Strong ability to interact confidently with key stakeholders and senior decision-makers.
- Good understanding of IT and Air Transport industry technical and commercial aspects.
Responsibilities
- Qualify opportunities and own the technical aspects of customer proposals.
- Design and coordinate standard and complex solutions with multiple stakeholders.
- Support Sales during pre-contract phases with technical designs and expert advice.
- Lead virtual Pre-sales/Bid teams and manage bid projects.
- Deliver cost-effective, implementable solutions based on customer requirements and product knowledge.
- Act as a technical interface from initial contact to solution deployment.
- Lead customer-facing solution presentations and demonstrations.
