Job summary

NSC Global is seeking Level 1 Field Service Technicians to provide on-site technical support for customer systems. You will troubleshoot desktops and laptops, perform hardware repair and component replacement, validate warranty status, and document service activity in the required systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in Level 1 technical support or comparable IT support role.
• Sound understanding of PC, laptop and client hardware.
• Working knowledge of operating systems, BIOS, drivers and basic networking.
• Ability to follow diagnostic processes and document steps clearly.
• Fluent written and spoken English; local language proficiency for customer contact.
• Valid driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites within agreed service windows and complete each intervention to the required standard.
• Perform on site troubleshooting, diagnostics, hardware repair and component replacement across desktops, laptops and related client hardware.
• Validate warranty status, asset identification and diagnostic findings before completing any repair.
• Apply approved diagnostic tools and methods, including built in diagnostics and structured troubleshooting.
• Confirm receipt of service calls, manage ETA updates and keep accurate records in required systems.
• Generate electronic service reports and obtain customer sign off after each intervention.
• Reinstall BIOS, drivers and operating systems where instructed and approved.
• Troubleshoot hardware related networking faults within service call scope.
• Order additional parts through approved process; collect/return defective parts as required.
• Keep customers informed throughout the intervention and reporting process.
• Escalate unusual incidents and comply with safety, security and process requirements.
