Position: Technical Editor (m/f/d)

Location: Kiel, Germany

Field: Defence

Type: Full-time

Tasks:

• Independent creation of practical documentation in accordance with national/international guidelines (H011, ASD S1000D, military specifications)
• Management and control of independently created work packages (cross-departmental)
• Correspondence with internal/external specialist departments, various subcontractors, and customers
• Preparation of status reports regarding the services provided, budgets, and deadlines
• Preparation of quantity structures and support for higher-level project management
• Review of technical documentation for hardware

Requirements:

• A degree or technical training in mechanical engineering or a comparable field and/or many years of experience in the field of spare parts documentation
• Knowledge of military technology/logistics
• Basic knowledge of specifications B007/S2000M
• Technical and logical thinking, but also knowledge of economic contexts
• Practical experience with programs for creating spare parts documentation (e.g., RSPM, MATCONF)
• Good written and spoken English and German
• Willingness to travel
