We are a spin-off of RWTH Aachen University, which develops a special coating technology to enable recyclable plastic packaging for various applications. We are looking for a technical purchaser (m/f/d) to join us in building a company that will significantly advance the circular economy for plastics in Germany and the world.
You are responsible for procuring goods and services for our demanding customers and research projects
You continuously analyze relevant procurement markets and optimize the procurement situation
You conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and service providers to expand our network
You work with the Head of Operations to design framework conditions and negotiate advantageous framework agreements
You play an active role in optimizing and further developing our purchasing processes to achieve maximum efficiency and quality
You have a bachelor's degree in business or engineering, or have completed an apprenticeship in business with an affinity for technology
You have initial professional experience in purchasing, ideally in procuring technical goods
You are characterized by technical understanding, decisiveness, and strong negotiating skills
You are a strong communicator with a confident manner
You are confident using MS Office applications, and ideally have experience using an ERP system
You are business fluent in German and English
