Hybrid Work Model

Job Description

Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Data Consulting, the Data Consultant serves as a primary point of contact regarding data quality for assigned client accounts. Through ongoing consultation, implementation support and issue resolution, the Data Consultant ensures clients meet their business goals using best in class data practices.

Key Requirements and Responsibilities

1. Guide existing clients to keep data updated and optimized for success
2. Conduct strategy sessions, workshops and ongoing consultation aligned with Assent's data standards and processes
3. Proactively monitor client data and systems to ensure ongoing data quality and accuracy
4. Perform ad hoc analysis, report development and troubleshooting as needed.
5. Maintain expertise in Assent's products, features and roadmap to help clients maximize value
6. Develop documentation covering all clients data assets, processes and best practices
7. Deliver client presentations, trainings and knowledge transfer sessions
8. Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for all data needs
9. Identify process improvements, technical issues and make recommendations
10. Proactively identify data risks, assess potential impacts, and collaborate with internal teams to implement effective mitigation strategies
11. Collaborate cross-functionally to continually enhance Assent's data solutions and client experience

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

We strongly value your talent, energy and passion. It will also be valuable to Assent if you have the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree/Higher diploma from recognized learning institution in Information Systems/Computer Science
2. Minimum 3-4 years related work experience
3. Proven track record of building trusted advisory relationships
4. Proven ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
5. Great verbal and written communication skills in English as well as an additional language in either German, Italian or French is highly desirable
6. Advanced Excel skills - able to leverage all Excel functions to analyze and report complex datasets
7. Proficient in SQL skills, ability to update/retrieve data independently
8. Experience in integrations and API
9. Excellent understanding of data management and analysis principles

Additional Information

Assent Europe is Headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This position allows for remote working from anywhere within Germany or the UK.
