Project Developer - Solar/BESS/Wind Projects

About the Role:
We are looking for a Project Developer to support the expansion of our renewable energy portfolio in Germany. In this role, you will take an active part in identifying, planning, and implementing wind and solar energy projects, working closely with landowners, municipalities, and regulatory authorities. With the support of our mapping, legal, finance, and construction teams, you will drive projects from inception through approval, procurement, and construction phases.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and expand a pipeline of wind and solar projects in Germany.
2. Identify and assess potential project sites, considering technical, economic, and legal factors.
3. Negotiate and coordinate with authorities, landowners, grid operators, and other stakeholders to secure project approvals.
4. Prepare business plans and financial models to evaluate project feasibility.
5. Manage projects from initial concept to operational phase, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and company goals.

Your Profile:

1. Passion for renewable energy and the energy transition.
2. Degree in environmental planning, engineering, geography, real estate, agriculture, or forestry (or a similar field).
3. Experience in renewable energy project development or other construction projects.
4. Strong project management, communication, and negotiation skills.
5. Self-motivated and proactive with an independent working style.
6. Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally abroad (Class B driving license required).
7. Fluent German (English or French is an advantage).
8. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ideally GIS tools.
