About the role:

The Transformation Manager acts as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the Executive Vice President (EVP). The role involves managing cross-functional initiatives, driving operational excellence, and ensuring alignment across business units. The Transformation Manager supports decision-making, communication, and execution at the organizational level, serving as an extension of the EVP.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Strategic Planning & Execution:
  2. Support the EVP in defining and tracking strategic priorities.
  3. Lead or coordinate strategic initiatives ensuring alignment with company goals.
  4. Prepare briefing materials, business cases, and decision documents.
  5. Translate high-level goals into actionable plans.
  1. Operational Excellence:
  2. Manage the cadence and quality of EVP-level meetings.
  3. Monitor progress on projects and ensure follow-up on action items.
  4. Identify and resolve risks, bottlenecks, or misalignments across teams.
  1. Communication & Stakeholder Management:
  2. Act as a liaison between the EVP and internal/external stakeholders.
  3. Draft internal communications, presentations, and reports.
  4. Ensure consistent messaging across business units.
  1. Decision Support & Analysis:
  2. Provide insights and recommendations to inform executive decisions.
  3. Conduct research, synthesize data, and prepare strategic recommendations.
  4. Serve as a sounding board for the EVP on complex issues.
  1. Special Projects:
  2. Lead or support high-impact, cross-functional projects.
  3. Step in as interim project lead or problem-solver as needed.

Qualifications and skills:

Experience:

  • 5–10 years in management consulting, corporate strategy, or similar roles.
  • Proven experience working with senior executives and managing complex projects.

Skills:

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High discretion, integrity, and trustworthiness.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity in fast-paced settings.
  • Facilitation, conflict management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with multitasking ability.
  • Ability to identify resistance, manage risks, and implement sustainable change.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of German is a plus.
