About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Export Control Officer to ensure the company complies with all relevant export control laws, regulations, and trade restrictions while maintaining a robust governance framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with export control policies, including EAR, ITAR, and national regulations.
  • Classify items, products, technologies, and services to determine licensing requirements.
  • Prepare, submit, and manage export license applications for U.S. or foreign export controls.
  • Monitor compliance with economic and trade sanctions (e.g., OFAC, UN, EU).
  • Conduct risk assessments for potential export violations and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all export transactions and prepare required regulatory reports.
  • Act as the main liaison with regulatory agencies and advise internal and external stakeholders on authorizations.
  • Develop and deliver regular training sessions on export control obligations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, International Business, Compliance, Information Security, or related field (Master’s degree a plus).
  • At least 3 years of experience in Export Control.
  • Strong knowledge of export control laws (EAR, ITAR) and trade sanctions.
  • Experience with export licensing, product classification, sanctions screening, and compliance auditing.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
