Be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of e-drive technologies through thorough testing and validation of gear and differential systems. You’ll work on strategically important projects from concept to industrialization, gaining hands-on experience in endurance, NVH, and durability testing. Collaborate with global teams and expand your expertise in failure analysis, material characterization, and advanced validation methods—all within a supportive and innovation-driven environment.


Responsibilities


  • Define and execute test plans for design validation (DV) and production validation (PV)

  • Develop test concepts and fixture designs for gear, shaft, and housing assemblies

  • Coordinate prototype builds and validation samples with internal and external partners

  • Program, monitor, and analyze endurance, strength, and NVH tests on test benches

  • Analyze test data and create structured reports with clear conclusions and recommendations

  • Support root cause analysis and issue resolution (in collaboration with design and quality)

  • Contribute to the creation of validation documentation (DVP&R, test specs, test reports)

  • Interface with suppliers, customers, and international teams on testing and release topics


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related field

  • Ideally more than 2 years of experience in testing or validation of mechanical components or systems

  • Prior exposure to automotive environments preferred

  • Familiarity with drivetrain test benches, endurance and fatigue testing methods

  • Hands-on experience with test setup, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems

  • Experience in failure analysis, material characterization, NVH testing, gear performance evaluation, and durability testing is highly desirable

  • Fluency in English is mandatory. German language proficiency is desirable, while fluency in Chinese would be a significant asset

  • Analytical mindset with strong documentation and reporting skills

  • Structured and proactive working approach, comfortable in dynamic environments
