About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to join our Abbott Diabetes Care team in Belgium. In this role, you will combine technical expertise with strong commercial and interpersonal skills to deliver innovative digital health solutions to healthcare institutions. You will play a key role in embedding our digital ecosystem, supporting healthcare professionals, and driving patient experience improvements.

What You’ll Do
  • Install and configure Abbott software packages and cloud solutions at healthcare institutions.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Abbott, healthcare professionals, and digital health partners.
  • Train users (nurses, doctors, IT teams) on software and Abbott products.
  • Collaborate with account managers to achieve sales targets and optimize customer experience.
  • Analyze technical challenges and propose actionable solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and local guidelines.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technical, IT, engineering, or commercial field (or equivalent experience).
  • Fluent in French, Dutch, and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and build relationships at all organizational levels.
