Work You’ll Do

As a Project Delivery Specialist on the project, you will:

  • A. System & Network Administration

    Administer the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all in-scope hardware and software systems.

    Install, configure, and manage hardware, operating systems, and application software (including servers, switches, and firewalls) in accordance with the latest NAVFAC HAWAII CIO standards.

    Ensure and manage system resources, including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability.

    Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software interface and interoperability problems to ensure seamless system integration.

    Maintain and update system configuration documentation, including Hardware (HW) and Software (SW) lists and network diagrams, following any changes.

    Establish and maintain IT connectivity for the DDC and SCADA systems to the PACADMIN cybersecurity suite.

  • B. Security & Compliance

    Ensure the rigorous application of information security/information assurance (IA) policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of all services.

    Implement and manage system security procedures and tools, including firewalls, host and client access controls, file permissions, and user accounts.

    Perform vulnerability management by scanning FRCS for software and configuration vulnerabilities, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing required patches for applications and operating systems.

    Manage the installation and integration of all system fixes, updates, and enhancements to maintain the security posture.

    Maintain the Authority to Operate (ATO) by updating eMASS, managing the Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M), reporting status through VRAM, and updating all ATO artifacts.

    Import Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs) to enable smartcard-based login and import the latest virus definitions and knowledge packs for the cybersecurity suite.

  • C. Operational Support & Management

    Manage user accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment, including creating accounts, performing password resets, and allocating permissions.

    Provide incident management by troubleshooting networks and systems to identify and correct malfunctions and providing rapid response to system failures, vulnerabilities, or anomalies.

    Continuously monitor system logs and network diagnostics to ensure systems are operating as specified and to analyze traffic patterns.

    Collaborate with Operational Technology (OT) and Public Works (PW) personnel and vendors to support OT licensing and integration. Document and track all licensing information.

  • D. Strategic Support & Coordination

    Provide expert advice, analysis, and recommendations on IT system administration issues and interpret and apply relevant IT policies and guidelines.

    Provide input and recommendations on network and operational technology procurements, including acquisition strategies and specifications.

    Prepare and present reports and plans as required to meet future needs and communicate system status.

    Maintain current skills and knowledge of relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications
Required
  • • Bachelor’s degree
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance required
  • 4+ years of experience in system administration and network engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in vulnerability management, scanning, system hardening and applying STIGs/SRGs
  • Ability to work onsite daily with the client in Honolulu, HI

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,750 to $171,250.
