  • Conducting research in the fields of low latency for real-time communication and QUIC
  • Participating in the development of transmission schemes, protocols and cross-layer optimizations for contributing to relevant standardization bodies
  • Implementing prototypes involving congestion control, real-time communication and QUIC to optimize for Quality of Service (QoS) based on Artificial Intelligence (AI)
What you contribute
  • You are a student in communications/electrical engineering, computer science, or similar fields at a German university
  • Good understanding of 5G network architecture and protocols
  • Good knowledge of the following programming languages: C++, C#, Rust
  • Good coding skills in terms of efficiency, readability and cleanliness
  • Creative thinking and interest in novel technologies
  • Good communication skills and teamwork spirit
  • Excellent spoken and written English

The monthly working time is 80 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
