About The Role CODE is looking for a Student Assistant - Academic Affairs (f/m/x) to join our team in the heart of Berlin.

Please note:

  • This position requires native-level fluency in German and very good level of fluency in English.
  • As it requires handling students’ data, applications from CODE students will not be accepted.

This position sits within the Academic Affairs team and works in close collaboration with the Registrar's Office and the Examination Office Manager. It focuses primarily on providing administrative and organizational support related to the implementation of a student information system and academic records and assessment processes.

The Student Assistant will assist in entering data, creating, managing, and filing academic documents, ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently. The role requires a high level of reliability, attention to detail, and discretion, while offering a flexible schedule and opportunities to contribute to core academic operations.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Registrar’s Office and Examination Office in routine administrative and document-handling tasks.
  • Create, format, and organize official academic documents, including diplomas, transcripts, and certificates.
  • Prepare materials for academic processes such as examinations and degree certifications.
  • Maintain orderly digital filing systems for academic and examination records.
  • Handle student documentation requests in coordination with relevant team members.
  • Ensure proper data handling and confidentiality in line with institutional policies.
  • Monitor supplies and printing needs for document preparation.
  • Issue Europass credentials.
  • Preparing and entering data into student information system.
  • Collaborate with the Academic Affairs team to support semesterly and annual administrative cycles.
Qualifications
  • German native and English fluency (minimum C1 level).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a dependable, structured approach to work.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to be on-site for specific tasks when required.
Nice to have
  • Previous experience in administrative or clerical work.
  • Familiarity with academic or higher education environments.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Requirements
  • Being currently enrolled as a student at a university other than CODE University of Applied Sciences.
  • Having the right to work and primary residence in Germany.
  • Having a German bank account to be able to get paid.
