Structural Analysis Engineer (Mid-Level) (m/f/d)

Our Interiors Structures Stress organization is responsible for supporting many of the commodities you see when you fly: The Interior of the airplane, including commodities such as Seats and Galleys, are the heart of what our team provides Structures Stress Analysis support for. We enable our airline customers to fulfil their mission and represent their brand.

In this role you will:

  • Support production of multiple Boeing aircraft models, including the 737 and 787.

  • Own the structural integrity lifecycle for major Interiors products, such as seats and galleys, ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory and Boeing standards.

  • Collaborate closely with global seat manufacturers to solve complex design, test and certification challenges, and lead cross‑functional problem‑solving to accelerate safe, compliant seat integration into the airframe.

  • Coordinate value‑stream activities with customers, regulators and suppliers to streamline delivery and ensure alignment.

  • Set technical direction and manage integrated schedules; prioritize tasks to drive project success, identify and mitigate risks, and proactively collaborate across functions to resolve design, interface and verification issues while supporting recovery efforts across the program.

  • Develop and implement improved processes and tools, and help shape adoption of emerging technologies to boost efficiency and innovation.

What you bring to the table:

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Civil, and select Structures engineering

  • 5+ years of experience in Aerospace Engineering, including stress analysis, supplier integration, certification and / or equivalent experience

Additionally preferred skills:

  • Experience: You have extensive experience in aerospace interiors dynamic and static structural certification requirements, such as 14 CFR 25.562 and 14 CFR 25.561.

  • Knowledge: You are able to demonstrate experience with aircraft interior commodities such as Seats, Gallies, and Lavatories, as well as capability to review stress documentation with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Collaboration: You are experienced in leading complex projects including influencing team members and stakeholders (suppliers, customers, solution providers) involved and are willing to help develop, mentor and coach less experienced staff

  • Tools: You can demonstrate solid expertise with our most important tools: Catia V5 / V6, ENOVIA, IVT, and FEM

  • Personality: You are a principled, reliable professional who values integrity, safety and accountability, always striving for the highest standards of quality and ethical conduct. Inclusive and collaborative by nature, you communicate transparently, respect diverse perspectives and take ownership to drive results the right way

  • Flexibility: You are comfortable with a variable work statement. Our Stakeholders are located around the globe; this can require you to be flexible to support meetings to cover different time zones
