To strengthen our Supply Chain team, we are looking for a professional and dedicated Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) to optimize our international procurement processes and develop forward‑thinking purchasing strategies. The position is located in Frankfurt am Main, on the 24th floor of the iconic Messeturm, offering a modern and inspiring workspace with breathtaking views.

The Role/Responsibilities:

• Define and execute direct and indirect procurement strategy, optimizing global procurement costs and processes
• Conduct detailed analyses of market trends, supplier performance, and cost‑saving opportunities
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with international suppliers; lead contract negotiations and ensure optimal terms
• Work closely with production, quality assurance, logistics, and other teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations
• Identify potential supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
• Represent Sirio at international trade fairs and industry events to expand supplier networks and identify new partners

Profile/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 3–5 years of purchasing or strategic sourcing experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, ideally from the food and beverage industry
• Solid understanding of negotiation techniques, contract law, and supplier management
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of processes in manufacturing processes and business frameworks
• Preferably some experience in packaging procurement
• Analytical thinker, proactive, solution‑oriented, with strong communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken); German or additional European languages are an advantage
• Willingness to travel within Europe and occasionally to Asia
• Professional demeanour with integrity, reliability, and a strong customer focus
