Position: Staff Engineer IC Validation (d/m/f) | Location: Jena

Responsibilities
  • Evaluation, validation and characterization of high performance optical and mixed signal sensors and other subsystems such as ADCs, DACs, high linearity amplifiers, LDOs, temperature sensors, digital systems
  • Define validation concepts for high performance mixed signal integrated circuits
  • Define test setups for sensor evaluation (electrical, optical, spectral)
  • Proper documentation of validation and characterization reports
  • Develop validation requirements specifications based on design specifications and support from design team
  • Analyzing and documenting evaluation results
  • Execution of electrical and optical measurements
Qualifications
  • Master’s or Diploma degree in electrical engineering or microelectronics
  • 5 years of professional experience in IC validation and measurement techniques
  • Experience in usage and programming of instruments test equipment is advantageous
  • Experience with relevant CAE tools, solid programming skills for measurement automation e.g. Python, Lua, C, LabVIEW or similar
  • Excellent technical knowledge and passion for high performance sensor systems
  • Team player with excellent listening skills and ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Agile and solution-oriented mindset with a passion for bringing in new ideas
  • Good German and English communication skills
