Your prospective job :

For our international client in the aviation and space programs industry, we are looking for you as an Space Architect - Satellite Systems (m / f / d) in Bremen for permanent employment.

Your responsibilities :

• Design-Lead of the satellite's Avionics architecture
• Definition and development of the Avionics architecture of the satellite (initial sizing and trade-offs, interface budgets, and hardware performance)
• Management of avionics subsystems (including data handling, telemetry and telecommands, payload data downlink, laser communications terminal, and crypto)
• Design Authority during the detailed design and testing phases
• Management of the interface and control on the physical level and across the protocol stack
• Riskmanagement and mitigation during the development phase
• Test planning and supervision
• Non-conformance closure

Your profile :

• A degree in engineering with a major in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or compatible qualification
• Professional experience in space- or aircraft avionics domain needed
• Profund experience in leading technical teams of at least 2 domains
• Familiar with hardware projects in phase B / C / D in the field of avionics systems
• Fluency in English, spoken and written
• Fluency in German is a plus (company-facilitated trainings available)
