Jobbeschreibung

Are you the kind of person who gets energy from making complex things happen - fast, reliable, and across borders? Do you like working with real stakeholders, real constraints, and real impact? Imagine a typical day where you’re coordinating with partners in MENA and East Africa while aligning suppliers, freight forwarders, donors, and corporate partners across Europe and the US - so hospitals and schools get solar power supplies exactly when it matters most.

Aid Pioneers is a Berlin-based fast-growing non-profit startup that delivers life-saving medical and solar equipment to hospitals and schools in crisis regions. Our model is simple but powerful: we leverage private-sector partnerships (suppliers, logistics, freight forwarders) and combine them with our own project and engineering expertise as well as with the know-how of our local partners to deliver complex projects efficiently and at scale.

In short, we operate at the intersection of the private sector and humanitarian frontlines, turning corporate collaboration into tangible outcomes in crisis regions. If you’re hands-on, structured, and a proactive self-starter who loves execution, this is your role!

What We Offer
  • Double Impact: Shape a fast-growing nonprofit startup and deliver critical infrastructure in crisis regions.
  • Steep Learning Curve: Build serious project, stakeholder, and operational leadership skills in a high-intensity environment with responsibility from day one.
  • Local in-country Experience: Optional trips to project countries to meet partners and see impact firsthand.
  • Flat Hierarchies: Work directly with the leadership team and take real ownership from day one.
  • Team Spirit: A young, driven team, collaborative culture, and a fun Berlin co-working startup atmosphere.
  • Purpose with Pace: You’ll execute projects that genuinely change lives - without the classic NGO bureaucracy.
  • Attractive employee benefits: such as Wellpass and JobRad
Your Role
  • Own End-to-End Project Delivery: Manage humanitarian solar shipments from Germany to partner countries in MENA and East Africa. In short, you’ll run multiple international shipments/projects in parallel and help scale our operations in 2026.
  • Be the Coordination Hub: Align suppliers, donors, freight forwarders, and local partners - ensuring smooth execution, clear communication, and fast problem-solving when things change.
  • Drive Procurement: Coordinate the sourcing and purchasing of solar equipment with leading private-sector suppliers such as Enpal.
  • Strengthen Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners (especially freight forwarders and logistics providers) who support our innovative non-profit approach.
  • Improve Execution Systems: Continuously optimize workflows, documentation, timelines, and stakeholder communication to increase reliability, scalability and speed.
  • Optional talent development: if you bring extra skills (e.g., coding/automation, motion design, grant writing, analytics), we’ll support you in owning side projects (in new countries) that level up our work - and help you grow those strengths further.
Your Profile
  • Fluent in English and German (written & spoken); other language skills are an asset.
  • Strong project management skills; procurement/logistics experience is a plus.
  • Intermediate Excel/GoogleSheets skills; PowerPoint/Google Slides proficiency is a plus.
  • Proactive self-starter: you spot problems early and fix them before they become problematic.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable - your spreadsheets don’t lie.
  • Strong communicator who can manage many stakeholders with clarity and empathy.
  • You’re calm under pressure and can adapt quickly when realities change.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects/stakeholders in parallel.
Formalities

Start: Starting February/March 2026 | Location: Berlin | Workload: Full time (paid) | Travel to our local partners is possible but not expected

Your application should include:
  • CV (2 pages max)
  • Cover letter or short video detailing your motivation and relevant experience
  • Relevant work certificates and/or reference letters
