Your mission

We're looking for a highly experienced Software Architect who has played the dual role of architect and hands‑on contributor. You will work closely with the team and help evolve our architecture, streamline DevOps, and deliver high‑quality features that impact global supply chains. This is a builder's role—ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑paced startup environments, cares about code quality, and wants to lead by doing.

• Own architecture decisions for core systems (e.g. tracking, document pipelines, analytics)
• Lead high‑impact technical projects from design to implementation across backend (Nest.js, Postgres) and frontend (Next.js, Vercel)
• Guide refactoring of the existing monolith and help modularize services like tracking, booking, and email processors
• Build and enforce engineering best practices (code quality, testing, observability, security)
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, and fellow engineers to ship stable and scalable features
• Mentor and support mid-level engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence
• Help define deployment and release strategies on AWS (EBS) and Vercel
• Contribute to hiring and onboarding of new engineers as we scale

Your profile

Who You Are

• 9+ years of professional engineering experience*
• Strong command of Nest.js and TypeScript, with deep architectural knowledge
• Hands‑on experience with Next.js/React, ideally deployed on Vercel
• Proven background in architecting and scaling web apps, especially in startup or SaaS environments
• Familiarity with distributed systems, messaging queues (Kafka, SQS), and asynchronous architecture
• Solid grounding in API design, system security, observability, and CI/CD
• Experience mentoring or technically leading small engineering teams
• Strong communication skills and startup mentality: ownership, speed, pragmatism

Nice to Have

• Experience working on document automation / LLM integrations
• Background in logistics or supply chain tech* Familiarity with Postgres performance tuning and data pipelines
• Comfortable writing technical documentation and planning refactors
