You have a very good technical understanding and will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and regular maintenance of our sophisticated hardware and software solutions at our Bad Homburg site or at our customers in Cologne or Hanover.

In detail, this means coordinating the installation work as well as the commissioning and acceptance of the complete systems – both in the factory and on site at home and abroad. Your interfaces are the individual project managers and your colleagues from Development and System Integration.

Of course, you will ensure that the work is documented and act as a point of contact for other departments, such as development and quality control. Your tasks will also include troubleshooting and carrying out maintenance appointments – on site if required.

• Execution of 2nd-level support, partly in direct customer contact
• Technical support for service and sales partners
• Execution of worldwide installations and start-ups
• Factory and on-site acceptance of systems at home and abroad
• Responsibility for the reference and test systems used
• Cooperation in international project teams

Your qualifications as a service technician (m/f/d)

• Completed degree (e.g. computer science, electrical engineering)
• Equivalent technical education
• Or relevant professional experience in service
• Good knowledge of network engineering, network storage, network security, and network protocol analysis.
• Sound knowledge in the field of standardized transmission techniques and protocols in today's telecommunications and data networks
• Skills using databases (SQL and/or Oracle)
