Role Overview

Wenham Carter are supporting a leading European grid-software vendor as they expand their European presence. They’re hiring a Senior Technical Consultant to work closely with DSOs, TSOs and municipal utilities, acting as the technical bridge between customers and their modern grid platform (APM, Digital Twin, Grid Analytics, OMS)

Key Responsibilities

• Run technical workshops, demos and PoCs with DSOs / TSOs and Stadtwerke
• Translate operational, regulatory and grid-planning needs into solution concepts
• Advise on asset strategies, condition monitoring, protection / SCADA data and grid analytics
• Support RFPs, proposals, integrations and customer architecture discussions
• Build strong relationships with Netzplanung, Asset Management, Leitstelle and protection teams
• Represent the company at utility forums, events and technical meetings

Requirements

• A few years working in or with a German DSO, TSO or municipal utility
• Experience in one or more:
• Grid planning / modelling
• Network operations / Leitstelle / OMS
• Protection & control / substation automation
• Asset management / APM
• Strong understanding of how utilities plan, operate and invest
• Willingness to learn modern grid software
