Eurofns Agroscience Services EcoChem GmbH is part of the group and offers analytical studies to support the testing, development, and registration of test substances worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, process, and coordinate 14C‑labeled environmental fate studies in water, soil, and air, as well as metabolism studies in plants and animals.
- Conduct leaching, persistence, and bioaccumulation studies.
- Develop study plans and discuss them with the client.
- Create and validate new extraction and analysis methods.
- Work under GLP to maintain seamless documentation and an overview of all studies.
- Produce a study report in English at project completion, influencing the approval of chemicals.
- Maintain constant contact with internal and external clients, building long‑term relationships.
- Provide in‑study training to junior study directors on GLP studies, reporting, and integration into the team.
Qualifications
- Graduated from an applied sciences or university degree program in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, or a related field with a major in (Analytical) Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology.
- Advanced knowledge working with radiochemicals (14C and 3H) and related instruments (LSC, radio‑HPLC, radio‑TLC, sample oxidisers).
- Expertise in managing Environmental Fate studies.
- Minimum of 4 years of Study Direction in a GLP facility or equivalent.
- Very good German (minimum B1) and English spoken and written.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and quick technical comprehension.
- Good IT skills, especially MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Teamwork, customer orientation, thoroughness, and organizational skills.
- EU visa is required.
