Job Description

Enpal Salesforce team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team. You will own a specific “Domain” (e.g., Customer Acquisition) from a product and platform perspective, working closely with internal team members and collaborating across other tech and product teams. Salesforce may not always be the best solution.

You should be able to support, consult, and challenge business and operations teams, providing options to solve topics both within and outside of Salesforce in a future-proof manner. You will own the priorities of your Domain and work with engineering managers to find the best solutions for real business problems, avoiding solutions based on assumptions (“Can I get another field for ...?”).

We value passion for strategy, measuring product impact, the solar and heat pump industry, platform development, or new tools—any area where you can truly own topics.

• You act as the primary point of contact for Salesforce in your Domain.
• You write clear and concise User stories.
• You have a strong desire to understand and document business processes and to shape them.
• You are friendly and diplomatic but capable of saying No when necessary.
• You possess deep knowledge of Salesforce configuration and limitations, with experience in other tools preferred.
• Depending on focus, you have a thorough understanding of org governance, including governor limits, coding/flow best practices, system configuration, change control, and enhancements.
• You can present changes and system enhancements and conduct training for diverse audiences, including senior management.

Qualifications

• Architect mindset: knowledge of relational database design concepts and management.
• Experience with Agile project management processes and dealing with ambiguity.
• Outstanding analytical, business process, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot system, process, and data issues.
• Salesforce Administrator, Solution Architect, or Consultant certifications are a plus.
• Project Management certification is a plus.
• Alternatively, a relevant degree or equivalent work experience.
