About the Role

In this role, you will focus on generating new business opportunities through a mix of proactive outreach, lead generation, and cross‑selling to existing clients. Your primary responsibility will be identifying and engaging with potential customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to foster long‑term partnerships and drive revenue growth in the DACH region.

What You'll Do
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the business.
  • Drive new business acquisition through cold outreach, inbound leads, and cross‑selling opportunities.
  • Document and record client interactions in Salesforce, ensuring proper follow‑up and communication within the sales team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience from prospecting to onboarding.
  • Assist the sales team with client follow‑ups, including PRN CS & Operations, and client visibility reports.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects in the DACH region.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to expand market share and enhance customer satisfaction.
What You'll Bring
  • At least 2 years of experience in a New Business role with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Highly motivated individual with a demonstrated history of success in sales or business development.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and work collaboratively within a team environment (Cision Germany Sales Team and PRN CS & Operations in the UK).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment.
  • Enthusiasm for the PR and media industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ideally a CRM system such as Salesforce.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written German and English.
  • Experience in B2B sales, SaaS, or the media/PR industry is a plus.
