Your skillset - as strong as our protein
- Completed degree in food technology, ecotrophology, nutritional sciences, or a comparable qualification
- Solid professional experience in product development in the field of food, functional food, or dietary supplements
- In‑depth knowledge of current food and fitness trends
- Knowledge of food law (LMIV, health claims, novel foods, etc.) desirable
- Analytical thinking, organizational skills, and a structured approach to work
- Creativity, innovative spirit, and a strong affinity for healthy eating and sports
- Confident use of MS Office; knowledge of SAP is an advantage
- Strong communication skills, negotiating skills, and team spirit
- Business fluent English; German skills are a plus

- Development of innovative products in the field of sports nutrition, dietary supplements, food (vegan, protein‑rich, and low‑sugar/low‑calorie snacks)
- Independent conception of new product ideas and product range expansions
- Conducting and evaluating tastings for product optimisation
- Continuous development of our existing product range
- Market research, trend analysis, and competitor monitoring for early identification of new developments
- Project organisation and independent implementation of individual project steps (e.g., recipe creation, price inquiries, calculations)
- Supplier search, acquisition, and maintenance of long‑term supplier relationships
- Strategic negotiation during annual meetings and promotions
- Establishment of risk‑minimising supply chains
- Participation in trade fairs, events, and supplier meetings (occasional travel)
- Food law review of product compositions
- Determination of back‑label texts, claims, and advertising statements
- Consulting on product development and handling of complaint management
- Maintaining product master data in close cooperation with neighbouring departments
- Supporting quality‑related tasks, e.g.
- Conducting and evaluating analyses
- Processing complaints
- Incoming goods inspection
- Creating and maintaining quality‑related documents (specifications, certificates, product texts, etc.)
