Senior Product Designer / Senior UX/UI Designer

Are you an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer seeking an exciting opportunity in Berlin, Germany? Our client, a pioneering company in the field of life sciences, is utilizing cutting‑edge AI technology to simplify life science documentation and enhance research efficiency, ultimately having a significant positive impact on people’s lives.

In the role of Senior UX/UI Designer, you will embark on a journey to gain deep insights into the world of life science, ensuring that your product design solutions truly empower scientists. You’ll explore new opportunities and validate hypotheses to drive innovation. Taking ownership of design projects, you will manage multiple work streams closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders from concept to launch.

Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with the Product team to prioritize features by translating user insights into actionable steps. This ensures that designs align with user needs and business goals, facilitating a seamless transition from user research to product development.

Your creative skills will shine as you create high‑level and detailed storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate and test interaction design ideas. You’ll define the user interface for both new and existing features, ensuring that the quality of implementation meets design requirements.

Additionally, you’ll play a pivotal role in organizing the design system library and creating new components, contributing to the ongoing development of an efficient design ecosystem.

Requirements:

• Possess 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer with a robust portfolio showcasing customer‑centric design projects.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills in English.
• Exhibit the ability to tackle complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible, and user‑friendly designs that drive tangible business results.
• Boast a strong track record and understanding of user experience, interaction design, and user interface (minimum 5 years of experience).
• Showcase leadership and management skills, including the ability to mentor and guide a team of designers and researchers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement in design processes and methodologies.
