About your role

You’ll be the driving force behind think‑cell’s marketing technology stack —optimizing, integrating, and advancing our tools and data flows to help our marketing team move faster and smarter.

This role is ideal for someone who not only understands the technical foundations of modern MarTech but can also navigate a uniquely structured web infrastructure and a cookieless environment with creativity and confidence.

You’ll partner closely with web developers, data analysts, and marketing stakeholders to make sure things get implemented quickly and effectively — even when the setup isn’t straightforward. WhatYou Will Do
  • Own and optimize the marketing technology stack with focus on acquisition (Matomo, Google Tag Manager, MTM, OneTrust)
  • Create, maintain and implement tags to track critical events that help us assess & analyze our marketing campaigns across all channels, focusing on compliance and privacy requirements.
  • In collaboration with the Web Development, Data, and Revenue Operations teams, maintain and integrate new technologies to enhance data hygiene and support segmentation, personalization, and attribution modeling in a privacy‑first world.
  • Act as a liaison between marketing, revenue ops, and data team to troubleshoot tech and process issues and translate complex technical requirements into clear actions and communicate trade‑offs effectively across teams.
  • Establish and own strong internal processes for data governance, tag management, and marketing automation efficiency.
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities and technical improvements in marketing operations.
Your profile
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing technology, or related field.
  • Experience with web analytics (Matomo, Google Analytics, GA4), tag management (GTM, MTM), and data connectors/integration tools (Zapier, Segment, etc.) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of privacy and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) in a cookieless MarTech setup.
  • Experience working with data teams and web developers to optimize web flows. Knowledge of B2B marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Strong understanding of lead lifecycle, scoring, campaign attribution, and funnel metrics.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for data.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Familiarity with SQL, BI tools (PowerBI, Looker, Tableau), or scripting languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
  • A proactive, problem‑solving approach with strong project management and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of advertising platforms, automation, tracking setup, and interest in new developments and trends.
  • Fluency in English is required and German language is a plus.
