Aufgaben

Job Summary:

This senior role combines commercial responsibility with hands‑on operational leadership in a highly dynamic, international environment.

You will drive sales growth for our AV services in the medical and scientific conference sector while overseeing and continuously improving operational delivery across Europe and selected global markets. The position offers a high degree of autonomy, direct impact on business growth, and close collaboration with international leadership and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Client Development

  • Identify, develop, and win new business with medical associations, scientific societies, and conference organizers
  • Present and sell integrated AV and digital event solutions (e.g. live streaming, presentation management, interactive content)
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through proposals, demos, negotiations, and contract closure
  • Build long‑term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders

Operations Oversight

  • Oversee the planning and execution of AV services for large-scale conferences and events
  • Coordinate internal teams, short-term employees, and external vendors across multiple countries
  • Ensure technical reliability for high‑stakes live events and troubleshoot issues when required
  • Optimize operational processes for quality, efficiency, and scalability

Strategic Development

  • Collaborate closely with management and international teams to align operations with global standards
  • Analyze post-event data and KPIs to identify improvement and monetization opportunities
  • Support the development of partnerships and supplier networks across Europe and beyond

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor team members and project-based staff
  • Foster a collaborative, performance-oriented culture with a strong focus on innovation and quality

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g. GDPR, event and data protection requirements)
  • Track and report on key performance indicators such as client satisfaction, project quality, and revenue development
Qualifikation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, AV Technology, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience in AV services, event management, or sales within the medical, scientific, or conference environment
  • Proven track record in selling complex technical solutions and managing operations for large-scale events (e.g. 1,000+ attendees)
  • Strong technical understanding of audiovisual systems, streaming solutions, and event technology workflows
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills
  • High willingness to travel extensively, including multi‑day conference assignments across Europe and internationally
  • Fluency in English is required; German and/or additional European languages are a strong plus
