A leading banking services firm in Berlin is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to manage legal risks related to numerous products. We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel with previous exposure to German and European banking and financial supervisory law including the Zahlungsdiensteaufsichtsgesetz (ZAG), Kreditwesengesetz (KWG) and banking regulation included in the German Civil Code (BGB). Knowledge of capital markets law and the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR) would be a plus. We would be thrilled in case you are a Fachanwalt für Bank‑und Kapitalmarktrecht or if you have taken relevant courses.
You will be responsible for the overall legal risk management of the company particularly in product‑related matters (excluding tax law). This includes:
