Job Description

• Develop concepts for a reliable, efficient and effective forecasting environment with flexible processes, clear responsibilities and always your customers in focus.
• Oversee the end-to-end forecasting process and translate business needs into concrete parameters and requirements for technical implementation into our forecasting applications – developed and owned by the Product and Tech team.
• Continuously monitor and analyze forecasting performance and initiate corrective actions if needed in close collaboration with key stakeholders – especially Demand & Inventory Managers and the Product and Tech teams.
• Develop, maintain and present regular and ad-hoc reports on forecasting performance KPI and pro-actively uncover root causes for critical deviations.
• Support our Sales and Operations Planning and Execution process by providing forecast data to drive data-driven, timely and risk-aware decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in forecasting.

Qualifications

• University degree with a focus on planning and quantitative analytics
• Proven experience in statistical forecasting models and process improvement in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of technical aspects of forecasting and ability to communicate with Product/Tech teams
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with SQL, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize processes and drive informed decision-making
• Effective communication skills with ability to present complex ideas in a simple but meaningful way
• Ability to be precise and pragmatic, flexibly applying methods as required in different situations
