Senior Finance Controller (m/f/d)

The Finance department is interacting closely with top management, Human Resources, and heads of different departments. Besides budgeting, planning, reporting and accounting, the Finance team is responsible for regulatory reporting requirements and the legal/tax set-up of local offices.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Planning of the budget in close coordination and communication with internal departments
  • Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights
  • Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts

Reporting

  • Prepare regular reports and evaluations for management and various departments

Cost Management

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
  • Ensure efficient allocation of resources across departments

Strategic Contribution

  • Think strategically and align financial planning with company objective.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Develop proposals and recommendations to help achieve organizational goals
  • Act as a business partner to senior leadership, offering financial perspectives on strategic decisions

Process Improvement

  • Drive automation and digitalization of controlling processes
  • Implement best practices for reporting and performance measurement
What we expect:
  • Bachelor degree or higher
  • Good knowledge with several years of successful experiences in a controlling function, financial reporting, preferably in the financial sector (Asset Manager company)
  • Confident in all common IT applications, especially in the Microsoft products Excel, Power BI and a very good knowledge in the evaluation and preparation of data.
  • Preferably experience with DATEV
  • Independent, responsible and solution-oriented way of working as well as strong communication and implementation skill
