Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis — Collect, process, and analyze credit risk and portfolio data to identify trends, concentrations, emerging risks, and early warning signals.
  • Data Analysis — Perform portfolio segmentation and risk driver analysis across counterparties, sectors, and products.
  • Data Analysis — Develop and maintain analytical models and metrics to assess credit quality, risk migration, and potential losses.
  • Data Analysis — Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to support credit risk monitoring and decision-making.
  • Data Analysis — Prepare regular and ad hoc credit risk reports for senior management, credit committees, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis — Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely updates of all credit risk reporting outputs.
  • Audit and Regulatory Follow-up — Coordinate the treatment and monitoring of Internal Audit & Joint Supervisory Team (JST) recommendations related to credit risk.
  • Audit and Regulatory Follow-up — Track remediation actions, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
  • Audit and Regulatory Follow-up — Set the action plan and coordinate with different stakeholders for implementation.
  • Audit and Regulatory Follow-up — Support the preparation of evidence and documentation required for supervisory follow-ups and reviews.
  • Audit and Regulatory Follow-up — Contribute to the preparation of closing memos, summarizing key findings, risk assessments, and remediation actions.
  • Audit and Regulatory Follow-up — Liaise with Credit Risk, Audit, Compliance, Business & SGO Teams to ensure corrective actions are completed within agreed timelines.

  • Credit Risk Activities and Support — Support ongoing credit risk processes, including portfolio reviews, credit risk assessments, and stress-testing exercises.

  • Credit Risk Activities and Support — Contribute to the enhancement of credit risk methodologies, policies, and frameworks.

Required Skills
Experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Credit Risk Analyst, within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Proven experience in credit risk analysis, portfolio monitoring, or regulatory-driven risk activities.
  • Knowledge in Power BI and Data IQ is considered a strong plus.
Technical Skills
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, including advanced Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables); Macros and VBA are a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQL for data extraction, validation, and analysis (considered a strong advantage).
  • Familiarity with credit risk data architectures, data quality controls, and reporting frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of banking practices and regulatory requirements, particularly those related to credit risk (e.g. supervisory expectations, audit requirements).
Analytical Skills
  • Strong ability to analyze large and complex datasets and translate data into actionable credit risk insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical reasoning capabilities.
  • Ability to identify risk drivers, trends, and vulnerabilities within credit portfolios.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment, interacting with risk, finance, compliance, and business stakeholders.

Languages
  • Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
