Responsibilities

• develop and execute sourcing strategies with a focus on cost opportunities and long-term value
• analyze spend data and supplier performance to identify cost-saving initiatives
• collaborate with engineering, legal, finance and value stream teams to ensure sourcing decisions align with project requirements
• negotiate contracts and pricing structures that align with business goals and cost targets
• manage supplier relationships and in-contract supplier management, ensuring performance and resolving commercial issues
• identify and mitigate commercial risks within the supply chain to ensure continuity and resilience

Qualifications

• have a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a similar field
• have experience working as a Senior Buyer in a regulated or complex industry, with strong expertise in strategic sourcing and supplier management
• possess excellent communication, influencing and relationship management skills, with a focus on delivering value for the company
• are results-oriented, passionate about driving change, and capable of solving complex problems with a strong analytical mindset
• are fluent in both German and English, with the ability to negotiate confidently in both languages
