The Role

Given the global expansion, B-Engaged is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager for the DACH region to drive new business and revenue expansion. Reporting directly to the Managing Director (DACH), you will play a key commercial role in winning new clients, growing our footprint across the region, and positioning B-Engaged as the go-to agency for athletes and brands.

Your focus will be on building and converting a strong sales pipeline by identifying high-value prospects, developing compelling commercial propositions, and securing new commercial opportunities that deliver measurable growth for the agency. You will take full ownership of the sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach through to pitching, negotiating, and deal closure.

About You
  1. Proven sales driver with a strong record of closing deals and exceeding revenue targets.
  2. Commercially minded, confident in pitching, negotiating and winning new business.
  3. Skilled at building senior relationships and converting opportunities into long-term clients.
  4. Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable owning the full sales cycle.
  5. Fluent in German and English, with an interest in sports and brand partnerships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive agency sales and achieve revenue targets.
  2. Identify and pursue new agency business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential target markets.
  5. Collaborate with the creative and account management teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate our value proposition to clients.
  6. Lead negotiations and contract discussions with clients, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for both parties.
  7. Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to the Global CRO and DACH MD.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and market trends to identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships.
  9. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and expand our network.
  10. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project handover and client satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  11. Work across company marketing and positioning in the industry to help drive the brand awareness and understanding of the agency's capabilities and case studies.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree (or experience equivalent) in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within an agency setting.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas and expanding client portfolios.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, sales funnel management tools, and performance analysis.
  • Proficient in using social media platforms and digital tools for business networking and promotions.
  • Fluent in German and English languages.

Salary: Dependent on experience - including business objective-driven bonus structures
