Role Overview

As a Security Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and positioning of our security portfolio in Germany as well as support international activities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and deliver cutting-edge security solutions that protect our clients' networks, data, and applications. In this role, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of cybersecurity, utilizing your expertise to deliver innovative products that address the evolving threat landscape.

Location: Munich or Vienna

Your tasks

• Product Strategy: Develop a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to define the product strategy for our SASE security offerings.
• Roadmap Planning: Create and manage the product roadmap, outlining key features, enhancements, and innovations aligned with business goals and customer requirements.
• Requirements Definition: Collaborate with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to define clear and comprehensive product requirements, considering both technical feasibility and user experience.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure seamless product development, launch, and ongoing support.
• Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to identify emerging trends, technologies, and potential areas for product differentiation.
• Product Launch: Lead successful product launches, including defining and support of go-to-market strategies in DACH (with a focus on Germany) and CEE.
• Customer Insights: Engage with customers and gather feedback to continuously refine and enhance product offerings, ensuring they effectively address customer pain points.
• Industry Leadership: Establish yourself as a thought leader in the SASE security space through participation in industry events, webinars, and publications.

Our requirements

• Proven experience in product management role
• Experience with network and next- generation firewall technologies.
• Strong technical acumen, capable of grasping complex technical concepts and translating them into clear product requirements.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to drive product strategy, prioritize features, and deliver products on schedule.
• Strong communication skills in Englisch and German.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) is a plus.
• Understanding of ZTNA concepts and principles.
• Experience with agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum etc.)
