Your Role:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Integration Expert to design, implement, and optimize integration solutions that support SUSONITY’s global digital ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting end-to-end integrations across SAP and non-SAP applications, ensuring secure, scalable, and seamless data exchange.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional business and technical teams, translate requirements into robust integration designs, and lead the implementation of best-practice integration frameworks. The position also plays a key role in maintaining integration governance, ensuring system reliability, and driving continuous improvement to support our vision for operational excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of SAP integration solutions using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), API Management, and other middleware technologies.
• Develop integration strategies, standards, reusable components, and best-practice guidelines.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to identify integration points and define optimal solution architectures.
• Oversee the design and execution of API-based, event-driven, and cloud-to-cloud integrations.
• Manage integration governance, including version control, documentation, testing standards, and lifecycle management.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, performance optimization, and guidance to development teams.
• Support production operations, including issue resolution, monitoring, incident management, and continuous performance improvement.

Who you are:

• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP CPI, SAP API Management, and the SAP Cloud Integration Suite.
• Proven experience with REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, and other integration protocols.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP, S/4HANA environments, and connectivity with non-SAP systems.
• Solid understanding of security standards and protocols such as OAuth, SAML, SSL, and related certificate management.
• Minimum 8+ years of SAP integration experience, including at least 3 years in a lead or architect role.
• SAP Integration Suite or CPI certification is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Experience with project management, integration planning, and process optimization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional global teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory or sustainability-related requirements is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in English; German language skills are an advantage.
